The following is my philosophy of Campus Ministry.
Campus Ministry is my biggest ministry passion. I believe the Campus Minister’s ministry priorities are to do four things: evangelism, discipleship, mentor, and integrating college students in the life of the church.
My first priority in Campus Ministry is evangelism. I want to be on campus everyday to meet and talk to people and set up Bible studies, and just generally being a regular fixture campus. I love the evangelism stories in the book of Acts. The Apostles and all Christians were out and about teaching people about Jesus.
My second priority in Campus Ministry is discipleship. It is important for all new Christians to be taught about their new faith they have. And to help all campus ministry participants to grow in the love and grace of God. In Acts 2 after Peter’s gospel sermon and nearly three thousand were baptized, we read the disciples met together dailyl to break bread and just be together. All of those new disciples were able to grow in Jesus. All of this is building a discipleship culture.
The third priority in Campus Ministry is mentoring. I love campus ministry because students are open to learning and are in a major transition period in life. These students will need guidance not just from the campus minister but from seasoned Christians in the church. Which leads to the fourth and final ministry priority.
The final priority of Campus Ministry is to intragrat college students into the life of the church. Christians in the church can teach them all about mariage, family, laundry, cooking, etc. They can be home away from home.
Any and all comments, thoughts, questions, etc are always welcomed and encourgaged.
God bless. Grace and Peace.

I believe the main duties of the campus minister are evangelism, discipleship, church involvement, and mentoring.
