Greetings everyone. Here are a few thoughts.
I just read a blog post from Phillip Yancey’s blog from back in March. It was refering back to a tsunami that hit Japan in March, 2011. A major earthquake had just hit Japan and a few moments later the tsunami swept in with devastating results. Possibly hundreds or thousands of people lost their lives, or families, or houses, or businesses.
The tornados that hit Alabama, Georgia, Missippie, and Missouri last year were also extremely devestating. Lives lost and homes destroyed. So much devestation it took my breath away.
And now, just this week the tornados that hit several places in the Dallas area. Thankfully there were no lives lost, but a lot of devesation as well.
I hope and pray Christians are in each of these places that will effectively reach out to those who are suffering because of these disasters. I hope and pray there are those who are open to hearing God’s word and willing to do what is necessary to become children of God.
