Dug Down Deep: A Review.

Greetings everyone! I have read the book Dug Down Deep by Joshua Harris. The following is a review of this book.

This book is the fifth book Mr Harris has written. Some of you may remember his first two books I Kissed Dating Goodbye and Boy Meets Girl. Both of those books are about relationships.

This book, Dug Down Deep, is about knowing what you believe and why you believe it. I found the book very helpful and very practicle. It encourages thinking big thoughts about what you believe and praying big prayers to a big God about this too. This book encourages us to make sure our beliefs are really our own. It encourages us to find our own faith. It encourages us to make our beliefs real and authentic.

I thought this book was excellent and very well written. Very practicle. Informative. An excellent resource! Thank you Josh Harris for blessing us with this great work! I highly recommend this great book!

New Semester Starts Tomorrow

Greetings everyone!  I had a wonderful time at home over Christmas and New Years break. Though at the end of the break, it never feels like it was long enough. I miss home, yet I’m really excited to be back in Lubbock and getting back to work. It is always a bitter-sweet moment.

I intend to talk more about my classes from last semester, but for now I will tell everyone what we have in store for this semester. On Mondays and Wednesdays we’ll have the Gospel of John in the mornings. Preaching lab will be Preaching from the Epistles. In the afternoons we’ll have Daniel and Ezekiel. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we’ll have Advanced Homiletics in the mornings and Romans in the afternoons. And on Fridays we’ll have Christian Counseling. It sounds like we’re going to have a really busy semester, but it will also be filled with great learning too. We’ll have lessons to prepare, books to read, and papers to write. But that’s what we’re in school for. Is it not?
